Three weeks ago I submitted my resignation to Corporate Three Design with my last day to have been May 6, 2022. This morning, they have announced that they will be closing their doors effective May 30, 2022 at the close of business.
At that time, I will be taking over the datacenter operations and continuing to manage hosting of all current websites under my hosting company, LargeMountain. There will be no service interruption or downtime with the hosting cutover.
I have also agreed to stay on for a bit into June, to help through the shutdown and to help clients find new vendors.
In addition, I’m also trying to help employees who will become jobless on 5/30/2022. If you are looking for a designer or web developer, feel free to reach out to me and I’ll pass along your contact information to them.
If you are a current or existing C3D client and have questions, feel free to reach out. My C3D email will be active for at least two more months, or you can fill out the contact form here.
It is a bittersweet moment. I never thought my resignation would result in the closing of a company, but here we are. It’s been a long ride.
As for me
When I submitted my resignation three weeks ago, I’d planned on taking a 2-3 month sabbatical. Both of my kids are in high school, with my son being a senior this fall and my daughter two years behind him. Spending time with them before they get out in the real world has always been important to me.
I’ve already had a few inquiries and networking introductions, so I’m not too worried about where I’ll land. But feel free to reach out. We can grab some lunch or a round of golf. I look forward to reconnecting with people.
